As a Second-Generation Master Plumber, with over sixty years in the industry, my interests have always gravitated to the importance of safe water as it relates to a healthy lifestyle.

Having relocated to Florida in 2000 from the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, we were shocked by the quality of our tap water. I learned that Salt based water softeners were the primary use for water treatment in Florida, unfortunately, water softeners waste billions of gallons of water and add tons of sodium chloride to our environment and waterways.

In 2005 California banned the use of water softeners, soon other States followed, including Massachusetts, Texas, Connecticut, Michigan, and Wisconsin. After years of research and product testing, we’ve employed the technologies we use today.

We are a family-owned debt free business based in Palm Harbor, Florida where we assemble and manufacture all our systems, including the popular under sink Alkaline system.

Today, we are recognized as a leader in alternatives to water softener systems. Because of our commitment, we have been nominated for the “Sustainable Business Award”
Our Story
It all started in a small workshop in Palm Harbor, Florida where Fred had the vision of a simpler, more effective way to treat water without using Salt, wasting water, or polluting the environment. From late-night brainstorming sessions to hands-on proto typing, Fred and his team’s passion took shape.
Given the opportunity to consult with engineers and leaders in the industry gave us ahead start on our road to success. Driven by innovation and a deep respect for our planet, we refined our systems to deliver conditioned water that retains essential minerals, protects plumbing and appliances, and eliminates scale buildup—without ever requiring salt or backwashing.
Each unit is precision-assembled at our Palm Harbor facility. Today, WaterScience USA is regarded as the leader in NO-SALT water treatment. Celebrating over twenty years in Palm Harbor, proudly serving our customers. Because of our commitment, we have been nominated for the “Sustainability Business Award”. We have always been ahead of the curve, and we are still committed to exploring and developing new technologies as we look to the future.
